Safety Standards

The International Guidelines on Non-Ionising Radiation and the BioInitiative Report [which work in collaboration with BauBiology/Building Biology and EUROPEAM] are the electro-magnetic field radiation guideline exposure limits that we work from, due to the vast amount of non-bias research behind these scientifically set standards. When we say 'non-bias', we mean that the studies are not backed by individuals or organisations that stand to gain or lose depending on the nature of the results, so the scientists and researches are completely independent and neutral, therefore, benefiting the consumers of these products rather than the industries that supply them.
We have no affiliation with any of these four companies what so ever and use their guidelines because they are the leaders in the field of EMF biological research.

You may be familiar with the International Commission on Non-Ionising Radiation [ICNIRP] which is a self regulated industry standard setting organisation, and some EMF surveying companies have based their advised exposure levels on these guidelines, which is highly undesirable for you as a consumer of this kind of service and the EMF producing products that may be of concern to you.

Below are the power density figures form the manual of a current smart phone that was purchased at the end of 2019. Pay close attention to the figures with the following measurement of uW/m2 which stands for Micro Watts per Meter Square.  

Here are the power density figures:

GSM 2G (Global  System for Mobile Communication)

900 MHz - max power 37dBm = approximately 48100 uW/cm2 

1800 MHz - max power 34dBm = approximately 24100 uW/cm2

WCDMA 3G (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) 

900/2100 MHz dual band - max power 27.5 dBm = approximately 6060 - 7630 uW/cm2

​

LTE 4G (Long Term Evolution)

LTE Band 1/3/7/8/20 - max power 25.7 dBm = approximately 4810 uW/cm2

​

Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity)

2.4 GHz - power 20dBm = approximately 1210 uW/cm2 

5 GHz: 5150 - 5350 MHz - power 23dBm = approximately 2410 uW/cm2       5470 - 5725 MHz - power 30 dBm = approximately 12100 uW/cm2                             

​Bluetooth  

power 20 dBm = approximately 1210 uW/cm2

Now compare the size of the above highlighted power density figures in uW/cm2 to the  power density figures highlighted in the BioInitiative Report quotations below and note the immense differences between the low power density figures of the studies compared to the very high figures converted from the mobile phone manufacturers user manual given in dBm which are obviously legal but how? We will leave you to be the judge of that...

0.0005 uW/cm2 - RFR decreased cell proliferation at 960 MHz GSM 217 Hz for 30-min exposure Behari, 2006 

 

0.0006 - 0.0128 uW/cm2 - Fatigue, depressive tendency, sleeping disorders, concentration difficulties, cardio- vascular problems reported with exposure to GSM 900/1800 MHz cell phone signal at base station level exposures. Oberfeld, 2004 

 

0.015 - 0.21 uW/cm2 - Adults exposed to short-term GSM 900 radiation reported changes in mental state (e.g., calmness) but limitations of study on language descriptors prevented refined word choices (stupified, zoned-out) Augner, 2009 

 

0.13 uW/cm2 - RFR from 3G cell towers decreased cognition, well-being - Zwamborn, 2003

 

0.5 - 1.0 uW/cm2 - Wi-FI level laptop exposure for 4-hr resulted in decrease in sperm viability, DNA fragmentation with sperm samples placed in petri dishes under a laptop connected via WI-FI to the internet. Avendano, 2012

 

1.0 uW/cm2 - Short-term (50 min) exposure in electrosensitive patients, caused loss of well-being after GSM and especially UMTS cell phone radiation exposure. Eltiti, 2007

This is just a small example to give you an idea of the scale of the problem we are facing. These researchers have no reason to promote these findings other than the fact that they are the truth! And, just as with any other topic in this world where one attempts to preach the truth... you will hang yourself out for a lot of criticism. 

 

It's also important to bear in mind: the power of these technologies are continuing to increase...!
